There was a day during academic week which tak ingat bila yang tiba tiba popped out the idea of nak pegi Ipoh for the roadtrip, yeayyy. First of foremost , sorry if this entry will get u caught by your jarum halus gang but I tak kira I nak tulis jugak. Hahhahahhaa
Since our last paper was on the January 7th, so we decided to go on the 8th but somehow, ada something yang tak boleh elak, well after all, family above everything okayyy. So, kitorang pon pegi lah on the 9th.
And ini aku consider as entry berani mati.

Ipoh, Perak
Disclaimer: It was a one day trip!
Since the last time we went for the roadtrip, this guy happened to show up an hour later from the promised time, so for this time I decided to go on to the most logic time he would show up.
"By 730-8 ada dekat 9th"
and he showed up at 745 plus minus. Hehhh
By 8 camtu kitorang gerak, singgah RnR Sungai Buloh for breakfast then around 9 heading to Ipoh. Well, actually,kitorang pi Gopeng dulu.
First.
Gua Tempurung, Gopeng.
Around 2 hours from KL, exit Gopeng and about 15 minutes to Gua Tempurung, dah ready apa semua ni lepas tu beratur nak beli tiket, dan dan lah nampak notis,
"Gua Tempurung is temporarily closed until further notice"
Ha ha ha. K. Dah balikkk. Then to Ipoh we go tapi lepastu dengan tiba tiba I was like,
"Tak pernah pergi UTP. Teringin nak tengok UTP........................"
Then tetiba je dah on our way to UTP
Dulu memang niat nak masuk UTP tapi admission fee dia mahal so lupakan je lah terus hasrat tu.
Along the way to UTP tu, tiba tiba nampak signboard 'Kellie's Castle' and kitorang terus pi situ dulu. Alang alang.
Second.
Kellie's Castle
Admission Fee: RM 5
Parking: RM 2
Castle peninggalan a guy named Kellie bla bla bla. Malas nak summarize. Tapi orang kata tempat ni berhantu. Tapi tak tahu lah kan. It was around 12pm when we were there and matahari terpacak tegak atas kepala. Sumpah panas terik rasa nak terjun je dalam sungai depan castle tu. Ok tak, tipu je. Rasa nak cepat cepat masuk dalam keta bukak aircond. Haaa tu je.
Lebih kurang sejam lebih dekat situ then baru pi UTP.
Third
Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Tronoh
Admission Fee: Ikut nasib kau kalau kene tahan pak guard padan muka
I got this kind of obsession over UTP during my SPM year and lepas baca Schubert's Serenade lagi menggila. I never googled or anything lah about UTP sebab I dont want to rosakkan image UTP dalam kepala until I got here. Well, except for their definitely awesome library, yang lain slowly fading away. Hahahhahaa.
We decided to masuk library UTP dengan muka selamba sebab nak usha. Sapa suruh awesome sangat. It was okay until few steps away to keluar tiba tiba mak guard saw us and she was like,
"Dik, kerja sini ke?"
Aku diam and wondering, I didn't make an eye contact tapi kenapa makcik ni berani nak tegur tegur.
"Dik kerja sini ke?"
"Tak."
"Intern ke?"
"Tak, kitorang dari luar ni, nak balik dah ni."
Keluar je dari bangunan tu, he was like,
" I buat eye contact bla bla blaaaa"
Hehhh pesen suka kantoikan orang camni lah.
Then perform Zohor dekat masjid UTP.
After that to Ipoh we go. Kali ni for real. Hahahhaa
Lapar, and we straight head up to nasi vanggey.
Fourth
Restoran Nasi Vanggey, Greentown
Dia macam nasi kandar. It was delicious lah. Lepas je makan, he was like,
" I x kenyang. Tapi kita jalan dulu, nanti singgah makan mana mana."
Well, we were on the same boat bruhhh. Tak kenyang, tapi was okay lah sekadar nak fill up the tank bagi energy nak jalan jalan.
Lepas makan, then on our way to the pekan Ipoh, then hari hujan. Badluck sikit. Tunggu lama sikit then decided to redah je. Bila cakap nak pi Ipoh, the thing yang terlintas is Ais kepal. So, misi mencari ais kepal dalam hujan hujan cuz we can. Hewhewhew
Fifth
Bits and Bobs- Sejak Selalu, Ipoh Oldtown
Sumpah it was thrill. Hahahaha dia xde lah thrill mana sebab kedai tu takde dalam waze, yang kitorang tau dia dekat dengan Plan B. Dua kali pusing, Plan B nya jumpa, kedai ais kepal x jumpa. Then we parked the car somewhere near, and jalan je pusing pusing old town nak cari this kedai. Then Tadaaaaaaa, In between Plan B and another shop tak ingat kedai apa, there is an alley and this kedai was thereeeee. Yeayyyyyy.
I never experienced ais kepal during my childhood, so this is my first time and I think Im good at it. Tak macam partner sorang tu makan sampai manitis atas kasut like banyak gila. I was having Roselle+ Sarsi, while he was having Grape. Makan ais hujan hujan kau bayangkan lah sejuk dia. Gila camni lah. The best part was, we managed to grab the last ais kepal yeayyy. Lepastu orang datang dah habis. Cara makan dia: Just suck and turn. Lels
Next, lepas makan tu well, obviously lah kitorang dua makan tak habis, then, jalan jalan pusing oldtown then nampak this one thing. Sebab nak kill time sebab tengah hujan, so we decided to masuk this kedai.
Sixth

And the bodoh things happened. Hahahhaha okay lets keep it as secret.
Lepastu, hmmm kitorang pusing pusing Oldtown ni, tengok bola dekat padang Ipoh, kejar merpati tengah makan, lintas lintas jalan, nak pegi stesen keretapi tapi malas lepastu decided toooooooooooooooooooooooooo pegi taman jepun sebab waktu dah pukul 6 ish camtu. Then lets.
Seventh
Taman Dr Seenivasagam
Taman Jepun ni located dekat Taman Dr ni. Kenalah tipu jugak dengan wave 2 kali sebab nak cari taman ni. It was like a mini Jepun. Alah macam taman taman kat laman rumah orang orang jepun tu. Pokok kecik kecik. Nampak lah suasana Jepun tu sikit.
Dok sini tak lama, sempatlah acah acah merajuk kejap then baru lah pi Maghrib. Lels
Eighth
Masjid India Muslim
Maghrib-Isyak dekat sini sebab saja. Masjid ni located dekat betul betul across padang Ipoh tu, so kalau tengah jalan jalan memang senang gila lah nak pi sini. Reachable je.
Lepas dah solat apa semua of course lah nak pi makan kannnn.
Ninth
Mee Daud Mat Jasak
Kedai tepi jalan biasa je tapi sedap. Nyum nyum. I was having Bihun Sup, and yang sorang lagi tu makan Mee Kicap. It was not literally mee letak kicap, by the taste, dia cam ade rasa kuah kari gak, it was serve dengan sup yong tau foo and it was awesome. Sedap sedap. Nyumm.
Lepas tu memang tak kenyang lah kannnnn, then we decided to makan lagi tapi lebih ringan. Macam kudap kudap gittew. So we decided to have Yong Tau Foo
Tenth
Man Yong Tau Foo
Honestly, Im not a fan of Yong Tau Foo makan dengan sos. Well, dekat Melaka kan Yong Tau Foo makan dengan sup. But this one was incredibly nice. The bahan is biasa biasa je which kau boleh beli sendiri dekat supermarket but the sos. Sedap. Just nice, tak manis sangat, tak pedas. So memang sedap. Tipulah kalau cakap, esok kat KL tu tak teringat.
Masuk kedai ni orang tersaaaaaangatlah ramai, Alhamdulillah rezeki kitorang, sampai je, this one pakcik and his family baru habis and signed us to take their place. Nyumm nyummm sedappp
So makan dah, jalan dah. Before kitorang wrap our day, We went to this one place like mini iCity.
Eleventh
Kinta Riverfront
Just a night walk. Ada family bawak anak2x. alah macam dekat dataran titiwangsa tu ade rollerblade basikal, hoverboard etc etc. It was a nice and warm night.
Twelfth
Muzium Biji Timah
Hahhahahaha along the way dekat riverfront tu, ade this muzium, so we just masuk and baca baca. After all, Perak kan memang terkenal dengan hasil bumi Biji Timah, so why not lah kann.
So, Tamat lah a day of our journey dekat Perak. It was nice. Dapatlah counter balik minggu minggu stress exam and upcoming cuti.
